I know its a cliche, but I believe health is wealth.  If you do not have your health nothing else in this world will matter because good health equals a good life.  When you are sick, your primary concern is just to get better because you can’t-do anything when you are ill, and life is just miserable.  I was not always a fit active guy. It was only three years ago that I had decided to start going to the gym. I had been suffering from depression and a bunch of things in my life where just not going my way. Then finally reality hit me. I feel off a five-foot brick wall falling head first on the cement. Doctors said I was okay, but that was far from accurate. Throughout that year I could not sleep, do the things I loved, or concentrate and eventually I fell into depression.   It was the worst year and a half of my life. I finally broke down one day and said enough is enough. I am going to try something I have never done before.  Like all people, I self-diagnosed myself to look for something that would help me get out of this rut, and the same thing kept coming up. Go to the gym be active, etc. So I told myself that I was going to go to the gym every morning before work for a month and I stick With it throughout that month and with consistency and Gods help here I am today helping people With their fitness. With good health, you have more energy to do the things you want to do, to explore, less stress, better relationships and more confidence. But know that being healthy is not just about all those things I just mentioned, those are just the perks.  It is about you gaining the habits to get you to live a healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and spirit and to spread that knowledge to the people you love.  Patterns are so crucial because it doesn’t matter how much exercise you do unless you break the unhealthy habits that got you there in the first place.  If you do not get rid of those practices more than likely, you will go back to where you started and all that work will be for nothing.  Most people do not know the importance of their health until it is too late. People are willing to pay massive amounts of money just to get their health back when it’s taken away from them. So why not invest a little today before you have to pay a lot later. If you spend in your health now, I promise it will be worth every penny in the long run.
